Ashley McCullough

Ashley McCullough, MPA is an Account Manager at Binti.

Prior to joining Binti, Ashley worked in the Child Welfare Strategy Group (CSWG) at the Annie E. Casey Foundation, where she used her unique combination of personal and professional experience to support public child welfare systems leadership to prioritize family reunification, implement trauma informed practice and support effective parenting to improve child safety, well-being and permanence.

Ashley has worked in child welfare for more than 15 years; she has been a youth advocate, a frontline practitioner, an agency program manager in California and Maryland and a national consultant. She is an experienced group facilitator, trainer and coach. Providing technical assistance nationally, Ashley has accumulated a vast knowledge of best practices in the field, strategic thinking about implementation, integrating consumer voice and the ability to relate and connect to people. Her aspiration is to inspire people to think bigger about what’s possible.

Today, Ashley focuses her work on helping provide opportunities for children and teens to experience meaningful attachment and permanency – post foster care – through the lens of childhood trauma. Having achieved legal permanence as an adult adoptee, Ashley’s mission is to create a reimagined child welfare system in which children and teens have uninterrupted connection to their families regardless of where they live. Ashley holds a B.A. in Sociology from Stanford University and a Master’s in Public Administration from the University of Baltimore. Always to prioritizing connections, and she lives in Maryland with her partner and puppy.
