Deirdre has focused her entire career on helping public and private human services agencies improve outcomes for the children and families they serve. As a seasoned management consultant focused on the intersection of technology, policy, and operations, she partners with organizations to see both the big picture vision and then achieve those goals with actionable steps and data-informed decisions.
Based in Albany, NY, she has worked for charter schools, Albany County, and on behalf of numerous state and local government clients as part of KPMG’s management consulting practice to modernize their technology.
Deirdre served as an AmeriCorps volunteer at the MATCH Charter Public School in Boston after receiving her BA in International Relations and German from Tufts University. She later earned her MPA from the Rockefeller College of Public Affairs and Policy, University at Albany. She currently resides in Albany with her husband and has been a dedicated board member of Vanderheyden since 2012. She is also active in her neighborhood association, is an avid gardener, traveler, and historic architecture and design enthusiast.
