Jo is excited to bring her love of helping people to the Customer Support team. She is a former K-8 Special Education teacher with 3.5 years in customer support and 2 years as an employee training specialist for customer-facing teams.
Jo has a very personal connection to Binti’s mission. When Jo was 11 years old, her parents adopted a sibling group of 2 out of the foster care system in Oregon. Her aunt & uncle were foster parents for several years in Utah and adopted 5 children with disabilities. While working as a Special Ed teacher in Utah, Jo worked one summer at a nonprofit that supports children with disabilities in the Utah foster care system.
Jo lives in South Carolina with her partner and their cat, Newt. She enjoys art museums, traveling, fries, and tv shows.
