Gabe Kopley is the Co-founder and CTO of Binti. He first learned about the deep challenges facing children and families involved in the child welfare system while spending a summer during college as a counselor at an overnight camp for underprivileged youth. Years later, when he met Felicia and heard about Binti, Gabe knew he had discovered his calling, applying his web software and engineering leadership expertise toward helping child welfare agencies
improve outcomes. Inspired by his Binti experience, Gabe became a Court Appointed Special Advocate (CASA), and later joined the board of Alameda County CASA.
Previously, Gabe founded the Rails School at Noisebridge in San Francisco, and was a Director of Engineering at Salesforce, running the Platform Security group at MuleSoft. Gabe has a Computer Science degree from the University of Pittsburgh.
For fun, Gabe enjoys training his dog, hiking in the redwoods, and learning about medicinal plants.
