Lauren Leinweber is the Head of People & Places at Binti, where she leads all aspects of the People function and workplace experience. In her role, she focuses on enabling Bintians to do their best work in service of the children, families, and communities the company supports. Lauren brings broad and deep experience from mission-driven startups, including Everlaw and Mill, where she helped build and scale the People function from the ground up.
She began her career in public education after earning a degree in Social Welfare, teaching elementary school before transitioning to the startup world—a path that makes Binti’s mission feel like a meaningful full-circle moment.
Lauren lives in the Oakland Hills with her husband. Outside of work, she enjoys reading and spending time in nature, and is learning the craft of winemaking.
