Tara is a Solution Architect. She has dedicated over 17 years to advocating for improving outcomes for children and families through implementation of data informed management strategies. She was formerly director of the Efforts to Outcomes project at UC Berkeley, Center for Social Services Research where she provided software training, support, program design, implementation, and self-evaluation technical assistance to California child welfare agencies. Ms. Lain has also consulted for the Annie E. Casey Foundation and the Child and Family Policy Institute of California. She developed her passion for social services early in her career while working as a child protective services worker.
Ms. Lain is a graduate of California State University, Stanislaus with a B.A. in Psychology and minor in Cognitive Science, and an M.A. in Psychology with an emphasis in data analysis and research.
