Jamie Martinez She/her

Jamie is an Account Executive at Binti, focused on our mission of reinventing child welfare with technology.

Prior to her career in sales, Jamie was entrenched in the world of foster care and adoption. She graduated from Ball State University with a Bachelor’s degree in Social Work. She went on to complete her Master’s degree in Social Work with a focus in Administration/Supervision Practice at Texas State University. Upon the completion of her higher education, Jamie worked as a Case Worker and Supervision at the Texas Department of Family and Protective Services, before transitioning to private agency aspect of child welfare. Jamie spent several years as a Case Worker, Supervisor and Program Manager for a multi-state foster care agency, in addition to supporting and writing kinship home studies.

After those years, Jamie then discovered her love and passion for helping the helpers through the use of technology. She has been an Account Executive for the past ten years, aiding child welfare agencies in identifying and selecting a software solution. Thrilled to find this career path that combines her passion for child welfare with the administrative efficiencies afforded by technology, Jamie feels it is her privilege and honor to spread the message about Binti so more children may be placed with safe and loving families, while providing relevant, necessary tools to the helping professionals and child welfare agencies.

When Jamie is not in work mode, she is in full-blown auntie mode, supporting and engaging with her twelve nieces and nephews. Jamie also loves to travel with her husband, try out new recipes, watching college football and planning a great themed party for friends and family!
