Khaaliq is a full-stack developer based in the SF Bay Area who specializes in building exceptional online experiences. He started his career as a Ruby on Rails developer and has worked at a number of start-ups of different sizes. He continues to be passionate about contributing to early-stage companies where the work he does can have an outsized impact on the product.
In addition to this, Khaaliq is also passionate about diversity in tech and wants to use his unique background to help companies create more equitable products through code. He has volunteered for Black Girls Code in Oakland and continues to serve as a mentor for younger engineers of color trying to break into tech. Khaaliq has a bachelor’s degree in Bioengineering from Santa Clara University and previously worked for NASA Ames in Mountain View, CA.
