Tim is our Vice President of Engineering, focused on nurturing great teams that help solve human problems. He joined Binti because his core values deeply align with the company’s mission.
An engineering and product leader with over 20 years in tech, Tim previously led teams at Shopify, Google, and General Assembly. He also has experience in public health, founding the team at Resolve to Save Lives where they built Simple, a free tool used in India, Bangladesh, and Ethiopia to treat over 3 million patients with hypertension.
He has been a Rubyist for a long time, done everything from CSS to DNS, and loves mentoring folks new to the industry.
Based in Charlotte, Tim enjoys devoting time to his partner Faye and their two amazing kids. He is passionate about food, travel, and music, having been a DJ since he was a teen. Tim also loves to read, watch basketball, and collect too many sneakers.
